Java Yogyakarta Earthquake

Just two weeks after the rumbling of the Mount Merapi Volcano, the nearby royal citadel of Yogyakarta of Indonesia's Java Island has been struck at 5:54AM on 27 May by a magnitude 6.2 earthquake at an undersea depth of 33km.
Seismologists and volcanologists claim that the volcanic activity and the earthquake are unrelated yet, more to the point, they are highly related with the volcano indicating the mounting pressure along the tectonic plate fault line and the volcanic activity of Mount Merapi increasing significantly during the time of the earthquake.
Many thousands of people are injured with at least 3,000 counted dead thus far with excavation and recovery efforts expecting to uncover more dead and injured.
The Major Pleadian Portal Sequences of the 11th Tzolkin Round of the Galactic Underworld (14 April 2006 - 23 April 2006, 4 May 2006 - 13 May 2006 and 24 May 2006 - 2 June 2006) have and are proving to be of immense power in re-engineering planetary structure and consciousness with the discovery of Mayan Tombs highlighting the world's attention to the Tzolkin, the discovery of what is thought to be the largest and oldest known pyramid in the world in the town of Visocica in Bosnia highlighting the world's attention to the geo-celestial matrix, the progression of the Middle East War Campaign of the US towards military threats and invasion of Iran and numerous other factors.
With the new biohologram codes soon to be processed and included in the TOP File and the surging power of Planetary Regenesis amplifying exponentially, we ought expect and prepare for far greater reformation.

Calling All Dolphins

Perhaps the most important phase in decyphering any foreign language is the process of learning to name individuals.
This then proceeds to naming objects and concepts whereupon the doors of communion are opened wide to full lingual and grammatical comprehension.
For many years research has been undergone to decypher the language of dolphins and the recent research of Janik, Sayigh and Wells has made remarkable process to distinctly identify name signals and explore the process of name formation and learning in dolphins.
The most success in human-to-dolphin communication has occurred through telepathic communion yet the ongoing studies may soon result in direct sonic discussion.
For the Members of the Tora Or Project who dutifully Perform TOP Emissions, astral and telepathic communication with the Aquatic Legions of the Dolphin and Whale Species of Earth is a regular experience as we share conscious energy with every known dolphin and whale species in our mutual collaboration to rectify and empower the biohologram of the Planetary Light Matrix.

Dolphins Create Their Own Names
A high-pitched "wee-o-wee-o-wee-o-wee" whistle might not sound like much to you, but it's exactly how a dolphin might introduce itself. Because sight is limited in the ocean, dolphins create individual "name" calls to communicate their whereabouts to friends and families. But it's not as simple as just recognizing a voice, as with most animals. A new study reveals that the calls contain frequency changes that dolphins recognize. Humans are one of the few species that use sound modulation instead of simple voice differences to identify individuals. For example, a person can recognize the name "John" whether it's being said by Gilbert Gottfried or James Earl Jones. Scientists have long known that dolphins identify themselves with names, but the belief was that, like some monkeys, the animal's voice was the key ingredient of the call. A team of researchers led by Vincent Janik of the University of St. Andrews in Scotland temporarily captured seven male and seven female bottlenose dolphins in Sarasota Bay in Florida. Janik and his crew recorded the name calls of each dolphin, and digitally removed the voice features of each call. They then played the computerized calls and digital versions of other random calls through underwater speakers where the dolphins were held. In nine of 14 cases, the dolphin would turn more often toward the speaker — an established technique for gauging a dolphin's interest — if it heard a whistle resembling the name of a close relative. "Every dolphin has its own voice," Janik told LiveScience. "But we removed those features and showed that the animals are actually paying attention to the modulation and not the voice." Naming game A dolphin chooses its own name as an infant and uses it throughout its life. "It seems like the animals hear what's around them, and then they make up their own whistle," Janik said. "They either develop something original ... or they base it on parts of the whistles around them." Regardless of the method, the young dolphins want to make their call stand apart from the calls of their closest relatives. Communicating by sight is difficult underwater, so dolphins use these calls to let other dolphins know they're nearby. A dolphin will also call out its name if it's lost and distressed, hoping relatives will come to its aid. Dolphins are some of the most talkative animals around, even though we don't know what they're saying. "Their repertoire of calls probably numbers in the hundreds," Janik said. "Some of them are food calls, but for most of them we have no ideas what they're for."

Thousands Flee Dangerous Indonesia Volcano
Thousands of people fled the fertile slopes of Indonesia's most dangerous volcano Saturday as glowing lava oozed down the side and ash and rock spewed from the mountaintop, leading authorities to warn that an eruption could come soon.
Villages on Mount Merapi were left virtually empty, although some residents returned to its slopes Sunday to tend their animals and crops. More than 4,500 people living in villages closest to the crater, or next to rivers where hot lava is more likely to flow down, had been evacuated. "My feeling is it will not blow at this time," said Budi, a 30-year-old farmer, who came back to cut grass to give to his cows. Like many other Indonesians, he goes by only one name.
Police manned roadblocks Sunday preventing vehicles from getting within six miles of the volcano's crater, but allowed villagers to return to tend to land and animals, advising them to leave again by nightfall.
Thousands spent Sunday packed into shelters set up at schools, government buildings and mosques in nearby towns in the island of Java.
"If it is safe, then we will go home," said Selamat, a 34-year-old staying in a government office transformed for 500 people. Women prepared breakfast in common kitchen and washed their children's clothes.
Mount Merapi belched out massive clouds of black smoke Sunday and lava flows scorched fresh scars in its slopes. Throughout the day Saturday, volcanic tremors had shaken the ground, some strong enough to send people running in fear. After nightfall, fiery magma from the volcano's cauldron lit up the bottoms of clouds above the nearly 9,700-foot peak, and cascades of bright red stones tumbled down the mountainside.
Many people already had evacuated from homes closest to Merapi's crater after the volcano recently emerged from several years of relative quiet, but authorities said as many as 7,000 living farther down the slopes had refused to go and leave behind precious livestock and crops. Groups of men who sent their families away were seen chatting around fires to keep warm during the night, guarding their homes against looters.
Edi, a 30-year-old villager, said he would stay unless he received a clear signal from the mountain's spirits that an eruption was at hand.
"People around here believe that if Merapi is going to explode there will be a sign, a magical sign," he said, sitting on a mat sipping coffee. "Either it comes in a dream, or in the form of a hallucination."
Although most Indonesians are Muslim, many also follow animist beliefs and worship ancient spirits. Often at full moons, they trek to crater rims and throw in rice, jewelry and live animals to appease the volcanoes.
Merapi, about 250 miles east of Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, is one of at least 129 active volcanoes in the country, which lies along the Pacific "Ring of Fire" a series of fault lines that feed volcanoes stretching from the Western Hemisphere through Japan and into Southeast Asia. Merapi last erupted in 1994, sending out a cloud of searing gas that burned 60 people to death. About 1,300 people were killed when it erupted in 1930.
One man who defied the order to evacuate, Baijo, 30, said he was not worried about the risks of staying behind.
"I am not afraid. This is normal. We are looking after the village. If not, thieves will come," he said.
Some farmers said they had not seen any volcanic activity themselves so decided to remain on their land despite being urged to leave by the revered Sultan Sri Hamengkubuwono, who is also the regional governor in Yogyakarta, a city of 1 million people just 11 miles from Merapi.
"We will not leave soon because of our livestock," said one cattle raiser, who declined to give his name.
All roads leading up the mountain were closed as chunks of glowing pumice blew from Merapi's depths into the sky and burning gas fumes wafted through the air.
Authorities put the area on highest alert after observing two days of steady lava flow from the volcano.
"Because there have been constant lava flows that cause hot gases, we have raised the status to the highest level," said Bambang Dwiyanto, head of the region's volcanology center.
Experts recorded 27 volcanic tremors and eruptions of at least 14 plumes of hot ash Saturday, said Dr. Ratdomo Purbo, who heads an observation post at Merapi. He said a stream of lava extended nearly a mile down the mountain's side.

Tension and Chaos

Further to the discussion of War Mongering, the price of Gold has reached a 25 year high of over 700USD an ounce (having set a record of 850USD an ounce in January 1980 after the 1979 Iranian revolution cut oil exports and with prices having surged by 35% this year), Platinum has attained a record high of 1250USD an ounce (with prices having climbed 42% in the past 12 months) and Oil has soared to over 70USD a barrel (with Oil Futures reaching 75.35USD a barrel on April 21 and 24 2006, the highest since trading began in 1983) amidst "orchestrated" concerns over the US-Iranian Nuclear Research Contention.

Whilst it remains obvious that a major factor in the US Invasion of the Middle East is the acquisitioin of oil as US Corporations now only hold a mere 4% or less of the world's oil reserves, what is less apparent yet potentially more factorial is the commodity mongering aspects of US, UK and French aggression towards Iran's Nuclear Research and Energy Production Program is Uranium and Plutonium.

Their ultimate aim, of course, is Total Space Dominance according to compliancy of the Bavarian Illuminati and Bohemian Grove with the Luciferian Plan of Rebellion.

The Iranian President has sought to promote peaceful diplomacy with the President of the United States through a recent 18 page letter thereto and has queried his religious hypocrisy, writing:

"I have been told that Your Excellency follows the teachings of Jesus (Peace be upon him) and believes in the divine promise of the rule of the righteous on Earth ... If Prophet Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ishamel, Joseph, or Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him) were with us today, how would they have judged such behavior?"

True to the hypocrisy of religious manipulation and intentional military invasion beyond the immediacy of seeking trade sanction allies; the Bush Administration has utterly rejected and ignored the letter.

The White House has brushed aside a public second letter to President Bush published by Time Magazine written by Hassan Rohani, Representative of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khameini, on the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) and Iran's former top nuclear negotiator, offering a more concrete foundation for negotiations to resolve the nuclear impasse and has declared that the open letter contains, "nothing new".

The open letter from Hassan Rohani follows:

"A nuclear weaponized Iran destabilizes the region, prompts a regional arms race, and wastes the scarce resources in the region. And taking account of U.S. nuclear arsenal and it's policy of ensuring a strategic edge for Israel, an Iranian bomb will accord Iran no security dividends. There are also some Islamic and developmental reasons why Iran as an Islamic and developing state must not develop and use weapons of mass destruction.

Three years of robust inspection of Iranian nuclear and non-nuclear facilities by the IAEA inspectors led Dr. El-Baradi to conclude and certify that to date there are no indications of any diversion of nuclear material and activities toward making a bomb. At the same time, El-Baradi has pointed out that the IAEA cannot certify that Iran's program is exclusively peaceful. But the fact is that few among many states with a nuclear program have received such a clean bill of health from the IAEA. Such certification by the IAEA does and should take time and effort. Iran is prepared and willing to invest the time and effort necessary to receive the IAEA clean bill of health. The IAEA is also ready to pursue its investigation of Iran's nuclear activities. So should the states that have concern about it.

What is, then, the motive for the rush to heighten the situation and create a crisis? Could it be that the extremists all around see their interests — however transient, domestic and short-sighted — in heightened tension and crisis? This situation, if not contained with cool head and if miscalculations continue, can easily turn into a crisis with potentially global ramifications for the rule of law under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and for the economic and security interests of all concerned in the region and beyond. It is high time to cease sensationalism and war mongering, pause and think twice about where we are heading.

Iran is not accused of having the bomb. There are no indications that Iran has a nuclear weapon program. If Iran were to have a weapons program, the alarmists in the U.S. and Israel have reportedly said that it would take at least another seven to ten years for Iran to make the bomb. What is often cited by American officials as 20 years of Iranian secret nuclear military program turned out to be, as declared by the IAEA, nothing more than the failure to declare, in a timely manner, some experiments and receiving some material and equipment. Such failures to declare are not uncommon among the NPT members. Remedial steps are envisioned in the Safeguards Agreement to address them, and Iran has done so. Moreover, it was no secret that we were in the European, Russian and Asian markets to purchase enrichment technology in the late '80s and '90s. Therefore, an Iranian secret weapon program is only hype, and the sense of urgency about Iran's nuclear program is rather tendentious. The world should not allow itself to be dragged into another conflict on false pretenses in this region again.

Iran is intent on producing nuclear fuel domestically for reasons both historic and long-term economic. The U.S. and some Europeans argue that they cannot trust Iran's intentions. They argue that they cannot accept Iran's promise to remain committed to its treaty obligation once it gains the capability to enrich uranium for fuel production. They ask Iran to give up its right under the NPT, and instead accept their promise to supply it with nuclear fuel. This is illogical and crudely self-serving: I do not trust you, even though what you are doing is legal and can be verified to remain legal, but you must trust me when I promise to do that which I have no obligation to do and cannot be enforced. It is this simple and this unfair. There must be a better way out of this than to top this travesty with threatening Iran in the Security Council with possible sanctions and perhaps even use of force. This path can potentially cause harm and suffering at differing degrees to all parties to the conflict.

A negotiated solution still can and must be found if we intend to strengthen the non-proliferation regime and avoid an unwise and unnecessary conflict. To this end, we must dare to leave the emotions aside and avoid polluting the atmosphere with the baggage of immediate and long-past history of Iran-U.S. relations. A solution imposed on Iran by the Security Council is unlikely to provide the assurances the U.S. seeks about the Iranian nuclear program. In my personal judgment, a negotiated solution can be found in the context of the following steps, if and when creatively intertwined and negotiated in good faith by concerned officials:

Iran would make an active contribution, provided that other countries with similar sensitive fuel cycle programs also do the same, to fixing the loopholes in the non-proliferation system and to developing a technically credible international control regime.

Iran would consider ratifying the Additional Protocol, which provides for intrusive and snap inspections.

Iran would address the question of preventing break-out from the NPT.

Iran would agree to negotiate with the IAEA and states concerned about the scope and timing of its industrial-scale uranium enrichment.

Iran would accept an IAEA verifiable cap on enrichment limit of reactor grade uranium.

Iran would accept an IAEA verifiable cap on the production of UF6 — uranium hexafluoride, which is used for enrichment — during the period of negotiation for the scope and timing of its industrial scale enrichment.

Iran and the IAEA would agree on terms of the continuous presence of inspectors in Iran to verify credibly that no diversion takes place in Iran.

Iran's readiness to welcome other countries to partner with Iran in a consortium provides additional assurance about the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program. It is not Iran's intention to disregard Security Council decisions. The way out is for the Security Council to mandate the IAEA to address this issue and establish a negotiating process for a fixed period to formulate a credible plan taking into account the suggestions I made in my personal capacity.

Iran is prepared to work with the IAEA and all states concerned about promoting confidence in its fuel cycle program. But Iran cannot be expected to give in to United States' bullying and non-proliferation double standards."

As prior stated, the Fate of the Nations would apear determined towards destruction as forewarned and prophecised long ago by the prophets of many heritages.

Yet for each individual of humanity, their fate is yet to be determined, dependent upon the conscious choices and activities during the remaining three to four year period of tribulation.

Through the performance of TOP Emissions every day according to the Instructions for Performing TOP Emissions and most especially during the Major Pleidian Portal and Solar System Event Days, our World Community of Reiki Healers are equipped to emit exponentially empowered Reiki to the entire population of over 4 million targetted places of human residence, enhancing their conscious attunement to the Will of the Eternal Mother-Father God YHVH.

I thus implore you all to be steadfast in duty as Reiki Healers and Members of the Tora Or Project for the sake of the Greatest Good of All and the Will of the Eternal Mother-Father God YHVH.

Please encourage every Reiki Healer you know of to Join the Tora Or Project and share in the Great Work of Planetary Regenesis.

Advanced Bioholographic Matrix and Gene Codes will be updated and included in the TOP File within the month.

Further, I implore you again to please endorse and distribute this Green Peace petition:

Join me in asking for a simple assurance from the NATO countries which host American nuclear weapons that they'll not endorse or cooperate with a pre-emptive nuclear strike on Iran.

Articles detailing the foresaid letter from and an analysis of the political machinations of the nuclear fuel market follow. Please note, I neither endorse the proposal of nuclear fuel regulation, nuclear energy production nor, for that matter, capitalism or commodities trading; yet the article is quoted to elaborate on the political and industrial maneouveres at play. My opinion regarding alternate electrical energy production has been given in the prior article Adding Spice to the Recipe in support of Zero Point Technology and Free Energy Research. I support the growth towards equilibrious sharing of goods and services among regional and global communities (REAL "globalism") through the resurgence of the temporal vehicle of fair energy exchange and barter systems.

Letter Shows Iran's President Seeking Religious Bond With Bush Source Article

With his 18-page letter, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered President Bush a history lesson, philosophy lecture and religious sermon laced with references to Jesus Christ.

The document gives rare insight into a man who has largely been a mystery to the West, showing him as fixated on a long list of grievances against the United States and seeking to build on a shared faith in God.

Ahmadinejad, whose Islamic government is suspected by the West of pursuing nuclear weapons, questions whether Christ and other religious prophets would have approved of U.S. policies and actions in the Middle East.

"I have been told that Your Excellency follows the teachings of Jesus (Peace be upon Him) and believes in the divine promise of the rule of the righteous on Earth," Ahmadinejad wrote Bush, who has said that Christ is his favorite philosopher.

"If Prophet Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ishamel, Joseph, or Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him) were with us today, how would they have judged such behavior?" he wrote.

As Ahmadinejad asked Bush to do some soul-searching and atone for past U.S. transgressions, the United States dismissed the letter as irrelevant and devoid of any concrete proposals whatsoever.

U.S. officials portrayed the document as a stalling tactic in the contentious negotiations among the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council over Iran's nuclear program.

White House spokesman Scott McClellan accused Iran of trying to change the subject from demands that it abandon uranium enrichment. He refused to say whether Bush planned to respond.

"It's not an issue of whether we respond, it's an issue of whether the regime will respond to the demands of the international community," McClellan said Tuesday. "The international community is concerned about the regime's pursuit of nuclear weapons under the cover of a civilian program."

Iran sent an English translation of the letter to Washington on Monday. The United States later distributed it to some of the permanent five members U.N. Security Council, a U.S. official said.

On Tuesday, Ahmadinejad called his letter "words and opinions of the Iranian nation" aimed at finding a "way out of problems" facing humanity, according to the official Iranian news agency.

Yet its only proposal is an invitation, over the letter's last several pages, to join in with those believers who adhere to the teachings of prophets, to monotheism, and human dignity. Ahmadinejad quotes the Quran throughout, reminding Bush that everyone will someday face God for judgement.

It portrays the world as filled with people who are tired of corruption and poverty and who have joined an "ever-increasing global hatred of the American government."

Woven throughout the document are apocalyptic warnings that the world is on the brink of a major upheaval that will see its people rebel against "cruel governments" and move closer to God. Democracy and liberalism have failed, he says.

"Those with insight can already hear the sounds of the shattering and fall of the ideology and thoughts of the liberal democratic systems," it says. Ahmadinejad also accused the U.S. media of leaving Americans in a state of panic after the September 11 attacks and spreading hype that led to the war in Afghanistan.

The letter covers a list of grievances that have made Bush deeply unpopular among Muslims: The Iraq war, the U.S. support of Israel, and the treatment of prisoners in Guantanamo Bay.

Ahmadinejad, a former engineer, teacher and Tehran mayor who took office last August, ranges even further afield, blasting the U.S. for its support of Latin American dictatorships and for "looting" Africa.

Several of its main points have been made before, and with far more vitriol. The letter follows to the pattern heard in his speech to the U.N. General Assembly last September, when he focused on broad themes of religion and philosophy rather than the specifics of policy.

In places, he strikes a soft, almost fatherly stance. On its first page, Ahmadinejad strikes a tone of a man who is troubled by a friend's actions and decides to sit down and give him a little advice.

He later casts himself as a humble teacher and man of faith who mingles with students and common people.

The issue of Iran's nuclear program gets only brief mention. Ahmadinejad accuses Bush of portraying Iran's nuclear program as a threat to Israel and declares Tehran's right to "scientific R&D."

"You are familiar with history. Aside from the Middle Ages, in what other point in history has scientific and technical progress been a crime?" the letter asks.

Though the United States didn't get what it wanted from the letter, some Iranians worried that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's dismissal of it was too abrupt and warned she may have missed an opportunity to ease the strain between the longtime enemies.

Iran's former ambassador to France, Sadeq Kharrazi, said the letter "could have been a turning point in relations." But he said Rice squandered the opportunity with what he called a "hasty reaction."

"This gives a pretext to those in Iran who oppose re-establishment of ties with America," he said.

The two countries broke relations after Iranian students stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979 and held its occupants hostage for 444 days to protest Washington's refusal to hand over the toppled shah, the late Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The U.S. and Iran have had no diplomatic ties since then.

The U.S. backing of the 1953 military coup that brought the Shah to power also came in for criticism in the letter. Ahmadinejad chastised the United States for opposing the Islamic revolution, backing Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war, and botching the investigation into the September 11 attacks.

He ends the letter with what appears to be a last-ditch plea to Bush.

"How long must the people of the world pay for the incorrect decisions of some rulers?" Ahmadinejad writes, adding on the last page: "Undoubtedly through faith in God and the teachings of the prophets, the people will conquer their problems. My question for you is: 'Do you not want to join them?'"

US-Iran: Raid On Nuclear Fuel Market Source Article

In the background of the political joust about Iran, a few countries are reshaping the world. They are taking possession of the global nuclear fuel market. New IAEA regulations should keep newcomers away.

The US, UK, France, Germany, Russia, China and Japan will become world's nuclear filling stations.

Under the auspices of the IAEA these suppliers will dictate the rules, the prices and the currencies they want to get paid in.

Iran has become the pretext and test case for their plans.

The problems of tomorrow's world economy are being shaped today.

Iran and the Non-Proliferation Treaty

US President Bush wants us to believe that Iran has plans for nuclear weapons. Well, we remember, that in 2002 he accused Iraq of having weapons of mass destruction. That turned out to be a lie, so let us look more closely at the facts.

Iran is a member state of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) from the very first moment in 1968. The NPT is a treaty not only to stop proliferation of nuclear arms, but also to help each other to develop civil nuclear energy. In the treaty, the nuclear-weapon states (US, Russia, China, France and England) promised nuclear disarmament. (So far, they have not kept their promises.) The other members had to sign agreements with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), NPT's watchdog, for the implementation of controls. IAEA's agreement with Iran entered into force on May 15 1974.

Iran's nuclear history

At that time shah Reza ruled Iran. Thanks to the Anglo-US' operation Ajax in 1953 he was still on the throne.

From 1957 Shah Reza wanted to develop nuclear energy in Iran. The US offered all the help and stuff he wanted: a research reactor, enriched uranium and plutonium. The research reactor was started in 1967, but went critical soon after.

Then the French became good friends too.

They promised to repair the reactor. The shah made a $ 1 billion loan to the French for the construction of an enrichment plant in Tricastin in the South of France. From 1974 still more countries offered their services to the shah. Agreements followed for five reactors and fuel from France, two reactors and fuel from the US, regular purchases of uranium from Australia and two reactors from West Germany.

Denmark delivered 10 kilo of highly enriched uranium and 25 kilo of natural uranium. Technical staff came in from Argentina and India, while Iranian students went to UK and West Germany. Discussions took place with Pakistan and Turkey for regional nuclear cooperation.

The Iranian budget for the atomic energy rose from $ 30 million in 1975 to $ 1 billion the following year, and still more reactors were ordered from the US.

By the end of 1978, with not a single reactor completed yet, the shah ran out of money. Meanwhile, popular opposition against the shah's blood shedding oppression rose to a climax.

From shah Reza to Khomeini

The opposition against the shah had grown since 1953, when popular hero and Prime Minister Mossadeq had been overthrown by a joint coup of the CIA, the English and the shah.

Mossadeq had successfully strived to nationalize the Anglo Iranian Oil Company (BP). Sued by England, Mossadeq had won the case at the International Court in The Hague.

During the coup, the shah initially fled the country, but came back after the army had succeeded to beat down the protests of the population. In 1960, to please his American friends, he granted diplomatic immunity to all US' personnel working in Iran.

A young opponent, called Ruhollah Khomeini dared to criticize the shah publicly. The first time he was jailed and recidivist a few years later he was expelled.

The shah's oppression increased over time. In riots many hundreds of opponents were killed and thousands injured. By 1977 all opposition movements finally united and in January 1979 the shah definitely fled the country.

Khomeini returned to Iran in triumph and on April 1st 1979 the Islamic Republic of Iran was established by referendum.

In November 1979, when Iranian students heard that the shah had gone to the US, they stormed the US embassy in Tehran to claim the extradition of the shah in order to summon him to trial. A long hostages crisis followed. A US' attempt to free them failed. President Saddam Hussein of Iraq, a good friend of the US at that time, invaded Iran, announcing he would be in Tehran within three days.

However, the war between Iraq and Iran would last 10 years and cost hundreds of thousands of lives.

With the end of the Warschau Pact in 1989 and Saddam's mistake to invade Kuwait, the US attitude toward Iraq made a 180-degree turn.

Iraq and Iran were both US' enemies now.

But since these countries detain 10.5 and 10 percent of world's oil reserves respectively and the US is world's biggest consumer (with 25 percent of world's oil production), it was foreseeable the US would not just ignore these countries.

The US now has less than 2 percent of world's oil reserves. Its dependency on foreign oil is rapidly increasing and, according to Bush, 60 percent today.

The accusations against Iran: 130 Grams of Uranium

On June 16 2003 the International Atomic Energy Agency announced, that Iran had not reported a uranium import of 1991 and the subsequent stocking and processing. That is true. But from a confidential IAEA document of June 6 2003 we learn, that this import contained just 130 gram of uranium.

According to article 37 of the official agreement between the IAEA and Iran, in force since May 15 1974, nuclear materials containing less than 1 kilo of uranium are exempted from the IAEA safeguards. The IAEA accusations made the world believe that Iran had transgressed the rules.

Similar jousts are about the Additional Protocol.

During the embargo against Iraq, when proof had to be found of weapons of mass destruction and Saddam was not willing to grant more rights to the UN inspectors, the IAEA had developed additional rules to make controls easier. The new rules also make it easier to discriminate among members: excessive rules for one country, friendly rules for others.

In June 2003 only 33 of the 188 members of the Non-Proliferation Treaty had accepted to sign the Additional Protocol. Nevertheless the US and a delegation of the European Union formed by France, Germany and the United Kingdom, wanted to force Iran to sign the Additional Protocol.

In exchange, the three European countries (E3) promised to come up with interesting commercial deals. Iran was willing to hear what they had to propose. This is not so surprising. 30 percent of Iran's oil goes to Europe and 40 percent of its imports come from Europe.

In spring 2003, Iran had even switched its oil sales from dollars to euros, which is good for Europe and bad for the US, since it weakens the dollar.

During the talks about new commercial deals with the Europeans Iran voluntarily agreed to suspend its research program for uranium enrichment and to grant additional rights to the IAEA for extended checking of their nuclear facilities. After repeated Iranian requests it became clear, that the E3 countries did not intend to deliver the promised deals. They just wanted to keep the talks going on indefinitely, meantime preventing Iran from enriching uranium.

Iran resumed its program and re-established the contractual conditions for the IAEA controls. This resulted in the attempt of the US and E3 to have the UN Security Council condemn Iran.

US' agenda: The oil, the dollar and the foreign debt…

So, if the so-called proofs against Iran appear to be fabricated, what is the real issue?

I think the general idea is clear to all.

With its excessive energy consumption the US thinks, it is necessary to have pro-US governments in Iraq, Iran and, for the UNOCAL pipeline project, also in Afghanistan. During the Cold War Saddam Hussein in Iraq and shah Reza in Iran were useful US' allies, but these days are over.

Thanks to Bush we now have wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Iran is located in between. Considering the reputation the US has built up in Iran a spontaneous arising of a pro-US government is not likely to happen soon.

The second thing that explains more immediately Bush aggressive stance against Iran is its part in the weakening dollar.

A new Iranian oil bourse, if successful, may even trip up US' hegemony.

In a glance, this is how it works.

World's oil and gas is traded in US-dollars. Since 1971 the US has had the advantage to be the petrodollar supplier of the world.

Supplying dollars to foreign countries means, the US can print money and purchase goods, services and investments with it.

Since the foreigners need these dollars to buy oil, and keep them also in use in the international trade outside the US, the US has never had to deliver anything in return. Merely supplying money means free shopping.

This is how US' foreign debt grew to 3,200,000,000,000 dollars today. And if some day the world gets tired of the abuse and does not want US-dollars anymore, their massive offers of dollars on the exchange markets would immediately push the exchange rate down, the dollar would become worth next to nothing and the foreign debt would vanish.

So it is very advantageous to deliver currencies that are permanently needed and wanted abroad.

But with today's' sky rocketing debt, the dollar has become vulnerable.

When Saddam Hussein switched to the Euro on November 6 2000, the exchange markets were temporarily overflowed by dollars.

With Iran considering a similar switch since 1999 and maybe more OPEC countries to follow, speculations and decreasing trust set in motion a long and continuous descent of the dollar, which risked leading to its collapse.

By the end of 2002 the dollar rate had fallen 18 percent.

This probably explains, why the US could not wait and on March 20 2003 even overruled the UN Security Council to invade Iraq. The Iraqi oil trade has been switched back to dollars on June 6 2003 (Source: Financial Times, June 5th 2003).

From spring 2003, Iran also switched to the Euro, and during the two years that followed the dollar rate lost another 12 percent.

The US free shopping advantage only works insofar foreign countries need additional dollars.

So, each time when oil prices rise on US-controlled International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) of London and New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), more dollars are needed in the world.

As 85 percent of the oil trade takes place outside the US, for each extra dollar needed inside the US, seven dollars are needed outside and result in free shopping.

To increase the foreign dollar demand still further, the US Federal Reserve sells Treasury Bonds to foreigners, which reduces the amount of dollars abroad. This increases foreign demand for dollars and raises the exchange rate. To stop the exchange rate from rising continually, new dollars have to be "delivered" to the foreigners, resulting again in free shopping. If the US wants to lower the dollar rate it can just import more. In fact, as long as world demand for dollars keeps growing, the US can decide itself about the rate of their currency and enjoy free shopping.

For the year 2004, the latter represented an advantage of 3,000 dollar per US' inhabitant. Recently, foreigners are not so willing anymore to fuel US' fairy credit carrousel.

The US tries to seduce them with higher interests, but foreign demand for bonds stays insufficient. The only remaining way to obtain enough new credit is to increase world's demand for dollars by making the oil prices rise on IPE and NYMEX. And that is what is happening since mid 2004.

Here, once again, an Iranian initiative endangers US' credit carrousel. Iran wants to establish an independent non-dollar oil bourse.

Assuming it succeeds in creating enough trade to establish a recognized world oil price, and assuming they keep the price stable, oil prices on IPE and NYMEX cannot rise freely anymore. The credit carrousel may stop.

The Iranian Oil Bourse will not only reduce the power of IPE and NYMEX, it will also have its influence on the exchange rate between dollars and euros.

If oil gets cheaper in euros, there will be a rush on euros. And vice versa.

The US and EU both see this bourse as a risk. The opening of the Iranian Oil Bourse had been scheduled for March 20 2006, the Iranian New Year. It is now announced for the first week of May 2006.

Seeking allies

To take measures against Iran the US needs allies. Allies are useful for cost sharing of operations and to let them clean up the mess, as in Afghanistan and Iraq. The best way to gain allies is to have your enemies condemned by a UN Security Council resolution. That means the US has to convince the other veto-holding countries. Of course, that would not work, if the US disclosed its real reasons. The US had to come up with something better, which could unite and reward all of the veto-countries. Well, veto-countries are the victor states of the Second World War. They happen to have in common to be nuclear weapon states, all disposing of uranium enrichment facilities.

So how about a project to reward them with the exclusive rights for uranium enrichment and for the supply of nuclear fuel to the non-nuclear-weapon states?

The strange European delegation

Then, in the diplomatic stage-play about Iran, Bush is joint by the UK, France and Germany, the so-called E3. They would represent the European Union. This strange composition of an EU-delegation starts to make sense, when we notice that these countries are the European countries possessing enrichment facilities. Camouflaged under the flag of the European Union they have their own special interest in enrichment and reprocessing.

How European are these E3 countries? In fact, as European representatives, France and Germany make a strange case in willing to get their trade partner Iran condemned by the UN Security Council. It indicates they are playing poker for high stakes. They deliberately risk disrupting an Iranian oil market priced in euros, either through a direct conflict against Iran or by allowing the US to obtain an embargo.

Bush, if he does not obtain his embargo, would probably not even mind to see the Iranian power plants under construction bombed once again, to make Iran consume its oil, instead of selling it in euros. And what role does the UK play in this EU-delegation? Well, with its IPE oil market always playing in symbiosis with NYMEX, and its subsequent impossibility to adopt the Euro, they serve as the messenger-boy of the White House. As usual.

The tone of the E3 talks with Iran is not the one you would normally expect between trade partners who wish to improve their relations. The reports about the discussions are long litanies of obligations the E3 seeks to impose to Iran. Iran is treated like the naughty schoolboy, who will have to obey one way or the other.

In January 2006, French President Chirac even covertly threatened with a possible nuclear attack. Of course such an attitude can only be counter-productive.

Russia and China

To reach a Security Council resolution with sanctions against Iran the US, France, UK and Germany have to convince Russia and China not to use their right of veto. Since Russia and China are enrichment countries too, that seemed easy, but failed until now.

Russia and China do not want any armed intervention against Iran. Russia still bears the scars of the Chernobyl catastrophe in 1986, with hundreds of thousands of irradiated citizens, new generations with genetic deformations, and unsolved plutonium radiation problems for hundreds of centuries to come. It has not build any new reactors since then. Russia has a more shaded view on world's nuclear future. Besides, it still has fossil energy sources.

China has good relations with Iran for the supply of oil and gas during the coming decades. If it wants to let Iran down, it would have to foresee alternatives for their high needs of energy. Besides, China does not seem to share the aggressive stance of the US and the E3.

Is enrichment in non-nuclear-weapon states dangerous?

Natural uranium contains 0.7 percent of U-235 atoms, against 99.3 percent of mostly U-238 atoms. To use it as nuclear fuel the proportion of U-235 atoms has to be increased to 3 to 5 percent. To do so, the uranium must first be purified and converted into a gas. In this form batteries of centrifuges can filter out a few of the heavier U-238 atoms in a long and energy swallowing process. Risks in the enrichment process are those of the chemical industries and not so much the low radiation. This uranium is not suitable to make bombs. For bombs you need a degree of enrichment of at least 90 percent.

If a country, as for instance Iran, decided to develop such highly enriched uranium, it could take 3 to 5 years to produce sufficiently for a bomb. Besides, according to scientists, for high enrichment much larger centrifuge facilities are used.

The oft-repeated but mistaken belief, that one could fabricate unnoticed highly enriched uranium in a civil nuclear plant, now serves Bush' contention that enrichment should remain in the hands of world's nuclear-weapon states.

Birth of a Multilateral Nuclear Approach

The idea of limiting enrichment capability to the nations that already have it is not entirely new.

The accusations against Iran, the successful misleading of journalists, politicians and diplomats had created the ideal circumstances to speed up its realization. The idea appeared in a UN brochure in 2004. Then it was still in the form of a call for a voluntary and time-limited moratorium on the construction of new facilities for enrichment and reprocessing.

In February 2005 the United Nations further elaborated the idea as the Multilateral Nuclear Approach (MNA).

Already in April 2005 Ambassador Kenzo Oshima of Japan's mission to the UN put the question, "if the MNA would not unduly affect the peaceful use of nuclear energy by those non-nuclear-weapon states that carry out nuclear activities in faithful and transparent compliance with their NPT obligations."

On February 6 2006 the US' Department of Energy announced its version of the idea in their plan for the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP). The following day, at the Oarai Conference in Japan, this GNEP is presented as an idea of IAEA's head ElBaradei and a proposal of Bush. And, of course, such a supreme idea should not lack of glamour. So, a few days later, DOE compliments itself as follows:

"Finally, the partnership arrangement between fuel-cycle and reactor-only states envisioned by GNEP will help supply the world with clean electrical power by offering non-fuel-cycle nations commercially competitive and reliable access to nuclear fuel, in exchange for their commitment to forgo the development of enrichment and recycling technologies. "

Questionable elements

The new world order comes in the form of new safeguards within the IAEA control system. Considering the spirit of the Additional Protocol we should not count on equal rights or fair relations.

Within the Non-Proliferation Treaty countries, only the nuclear-weapon states, plus Germany, the Netherlands and Japan have enrichment facilities today.

The rest of the NPT countries would see their rights to enrich uranium taken away. In exchange, they will get the solemn promises of the nuclear-weapon states, that the latter will always deliver the nuclear fuel.

Promises? Weren't these the countries that promised in 1968 to strive for their nuclear disarmament? As we know, they did not keep their word up to now. Worse, France has even developed a new generation of nuclear weapons to make the step to nuclear war easier and progressive.

This year, France and the US are still using their nuclear arsenal to threaten the world.

Non-nuclear-weapon states should now give away more rights and become dependent of IAEA's club of nuclear fuel suppliers?

To seduce non-nuclear-weapon states, this new plan promises lower electricity prices. Today, on a global scale, enrichment facilities would have about twice the capacity the world needs.

By preventing the construction of new enrichment facilities, a better use could be made of the existing capacities. This would enable lower prices for enriched uranium, and thus of electricity… Should we believe these words?

The enrichment industries are not driven by the concern to lower world's electricity prices. In spite of the world's over-capacity the Europeans are considerably expanding their production in the UK, Netherlands and Germany. They strive for more market share and more profit! And if by new IAEA regulations no new competitors are allowed on the market, this can only result in excessive pricing of enriched uranium, and thus of electricity.

The new plans foresee a highly regulated and closely monitored fuel supply distribution system.

The IAEA would become the intermediate between fuel producing and fuel consuming members. At first glance this may look like a trustworthy construction, since the IAEA is a UN body.

However, the IAEA is also the policeman in the system.

I do not think it is wise to let policemen trade with the parties they should inspect. Besides, the UN is not some sort of democratic and integer government that would be able to guarantee their policemen's impartiality.

The plans for the distribution system recommend minimal national stocks and joint regional buffers in different host-countries. Strange, isn't it?

The purpose of minimal stocks inside the countries and regional stocks elsewhere is hardly to defend as a security issue. Even with enormous stocks of 3.5 percent enriched uranium you cannot produce any nuclear weapon. Why would the IAEA want countries to dispose of only small quantities of fuel at a time?

I fear there is only one plausible answer: to keep the non-nuclear-weapon states in a firm grip. That is a lot of power for our NPT-watchdog. This power goes far beyond what is needed for their inspections. Even far beyond the needs of a safe nuclear fuel distribution system.

This is pure power to overrule nations' sovereignty. If a nation does anything that the watchdog or its masters do not want, the fuel tap can simply be closed to obtain its immediate submission. It smells like a dictatorship on world-level. Of course, the fuel supplying countries will never be affected. They produce their own fuel.

In theory the master of the IAEA is the United Nations Organization. But does it work that way in reality?

The IAEA has a difficult role, because it cannot ignore tensions and conflicts of interest between NPT members. The IAEA's independence from parties' national interests is constantly under strain. Its limited budget forces the IAEA to make choices, which are influenced by occurring conflicts.

During the embargo against Iraq, we witnessed an IAEA driven crazy by Bush, who demanded each time more and more thorough controls. The dog was sent out over and over to make sure Iraq could be safely invaded.

Although the IAEA has the obligation to keep all sensitive information from their investigations undisclosed, the US military constantly received sensitive information, with which they prepared the invasion in 2003. (And finally, to invade Iraq, Bush simply overruled the UN's Security Council…)

Today, we see the same US' influences in the IAEA's investigations in Iran. Bush shouts and the dog runs to search for the stick. The rules for this new system are presented as "an idea of ElBaradei and a proposal of Bush.". I presume that both plans, the IAEA's Multi-National Approach (NMA) and Bush' Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP), will merge into a final version dictated by the US.

Of course, getting a firm grip on all non-nuclear-weapon states as soon as they get addicted to nuclear energy is a major strategic coup. But there are far more advantages for the nuclear fuel suppliers.

United under the umbrella of the IAEA, the market will be completely regulated. As all of them cooperate in the same organizations and all of them will be interested in the highest possible earnings, together they will set world's nuclear fuel price.

Just like today's world's oil prices are decided on the market places of IPE and NYMEX, nuclear fuel prices will be decided by the happy few.

Now comes the tricky part. Nuclear fuel has to be paid for.

The question is: in what currency (or currencies) will the customers have to pay?

These currencies will become the most needed and wanted currencies in the world. You can compare it to today's US-dollar.

Apparently these currencies have not been decided yet.

But, if each fuel supplier asks to be paid in its own currency, the world would widely accept Japanese yens, Chinese Yuan renminbi, Russian rubles, euros, English pounds and US-dollars.

There will probably be some preferential order due to each supplier's capacity to deliver nuclear fuel. Each of these countries will know the advantages of the supply of their currencies to the rest of the world.

Of course, in the long run, each of them will also experience the negative effects on their economies and, after decades, let their currency collapse to get rid of the built up debt. In short, this is what can happen with multiple world currencies.

However, the fact that the plans mention, that the IAEA should become the intermediary between suppliers and customers, makes it reasonable to suppose that the IAEA will decide in which currency the customers will have to pay. Bush surely hopes that this will be the dollar. When nuclear fuel has to be paid exclusively in dollars, demand for US-dollars and therewith the US hegemony will be assured for many decades to come.

The UN theatre

With the above project prepared discretely in the background, we now have an anti-Iranian alliance of the US and E3.

They smell the opportunity for a coup to seize world's nuclear fuel market. To succeed, they would just need some legal sauce on the prohibition of uranium enrichment by non-nuclear-weapon states, with Iran as example. And a UN Security Council resolution would be enough, if it legalizes IAEA's stand that it can forbid countries to enrich uranium.

Of course, they would make it impossible for Iran to stay within the Non-Proliferation Treaty then. To succeed their coup, they will have to take care, that Iran does not leave the organization before a resolution is successfully voted. For if so, there would not be any ground for a resolution anymore.

Countries outside the Non-Proliferation treaty, like Israel, India, Pakistan, Cuba and Brazil are free to enrich uranium and do what they want.

The question is: will the US and E3 succeed in seducing Russia and China?

In the event, that such a coup of the nuclear-weapon states would succeed, it would probably put the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the UN under enormous strain.

These organizations might loose all credibility and see many non-nuclear-weapon states leave. The result may be opposite to what these organizations were designed for.

A Matter of Truth

I doth confer .... Peace Ross
"Popularity is NOT the desire of the spiritual person….truth-telling is. There is nothing, "more loving" than telling the truth even when it hurts, because in the end there is nothing of greater benefit. None of those who speak of "love and light" without even so much as defining their words, can come to grips with this." Truth: Most Dreaded and Useful
There is only one thing which the modern person fears more than death, and that is the idea there is such a thing as truth. Death to most people may be a great and terrible unknown, but it is nothing compared to the awesome and totally threatening implications of TRUTH ITSELF. All of the world’s problems, every injustice, war, misery, disease, lingering fear and pain, have but one single cause, and that is the widespread denial of Truth. Every single solution for the world’s ills, for war, corruption, social inequality, religious intolerance and the nature of true progress in general, stems from one single source - the implementation of Truth. It is not from fear or pain that human beings run away, it is from their cause that they flee. They run as cowards and fools from the truth alone, for there is no greater enemy to society, tradition, consumerism, insanity or self destruction, than the Reality it encompasses. It is from this most dreaded and despised foe, the reality of truth, that people seek to escape. There is no greater source of panic, anxiety and anguish for the modern mind, than what is TRULY SO. It is for the reasons listed above that the average person will literally DO ANYTHING and SAY ANYTHING, in an attempt to avoid the Truth. They will deny the existence of the most obvious, even if this contradicts not only their daily experience, but the experience of that very moment. People well claim total ignorance while in full and complete knowledge, not necessarily because they enjoy lying, but because they are horrified to admit something that they wished were not so. For the most part they do this not for the sake of avoiding any single aspect of truth or fact, but to utterly avoid TRUTH ITSELF, as the guiding principle of the Universe. To even suggest that it is such a thing as TRUTH which guides reality rather than human whim or desire, is to evoke considerable anger, fear and indignation from a human being. Given this, the human mind has even fashioned God in it’s own image, imagining that only THEIR personal nation, religion, and culture have any real meaning, implying that their wars are righteous, and that all the stars in the night sky exist only for their personal amusement. The human being will even go so far as to say that nothing can, or ever has existed without our say so, and that if a tree falls in a forest unheard, then that must surely mean it did not make a sound. Such points as the following are almost ALWAYS brought forward when the average person reacts to the discussion of truth, proving the complete insanity of the modern condition: 1) there is no truth, (and therefore no such thing as a lie, either) 2) there is truth, but it is, "relative" or "subjective", as in, "my truth" and "your truth" 3) there is truth, but it can NEVER be known by human beings 4) the truth is constantly changing, so there's no point in trying to understand it 5) the truth needs human observers to exist … what we don't observe doesn't exist or doesn't matter 6) truth is defined as whatever the majority believes, (if everyone believes the Earth is flat, then that makes it flat….there is no such thing as evidence, reasoning or logic) 7) the truth is whatever we want to make up at any given time, with no explanation needed, (this is our right as, "centers of the universe") Truth: That which exists regardless of opinion or viewpoint, Natural Law(s), fact. The truth is composed of facts, and these are collectively known as “reality”. Even after being given this definition of Truth, the average person will either insist that truth is personal, relative or subjective, or they will claim that although it exists, it can never really be known. The test of our wisdom is not in our ability to acquire knowledge, but what to do with that knowledge after it is acquired. It is here that humanity fails, not because we cannot conceive of the best course of action, but because we are unwilling to accept new conclusions and standards then those which history has already given us. In simple psychological terms, this is known as mass denial. The purpose of the denial of Truth is simple, THE AVOIDANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY. To acknowledge there is such a thing as Truth is to also be forced to acknowledge that the universe, like life, is not random. A non-random universe has direction, and even what may be called "goals" or "purposes", not the least of which is known as, “evolution”. To acknowledge Truth is to realize that life itself, (and even our own individual lives, now and hereafter) have meaning and purpose of a specific nature. Since a Universe based on Truth is conditional and specific, that means we as human beings are NOT at liberty to make up whatever we want to about life. With Truth in place, imagination, desire and whim are no longer the center of the Universe, implying that everything society now stands for is utterly false. Society tells us that human beings and their desires, are far more important than the content of a hundred billion galaxies and everything in between. It falsely claims that our own emotional gratification reigns supreme in the cosmic scope of things, while all that matters is whatever we wish to believe. That’s why there is such popularity in the belief that, "there is no Truth", or that there is only, "my truth" and "your truth" which is basically saying the same thing as "there is no truth". If truth is relative to each individual person, then how can two people with diametrically opposed view sit in the very same room together, without annihilating one another with their minds? Obviously there something more to truth than whatever we wish to believe upon waking up in the morning. Modern social structures can’t EVER afford to acknowledge that life has inherent meaning, one that does not need human approval or restructuring, without simultaneously admitting that long cherished norms are based upon nothing but arbitrariness. For if it did acknowledge truth then consumerism would become practicality, religious faith would become clarity, tradition would be replaced by innovation, national boundaries would dissolve, patriotism would be seen as misguided loyalty, logic would replace randomness, clear reasoning would transcend gossip and blind following, peace would replace war, and wisdom would arise where there had once been only ignorance. To the question of, "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound"? the answer is simple…yes, of course it still makes a sound. The natural laws of physics do not hang on the thread of human whim in order to find their fruition. The very question reeks of a center-of-the-universe sentimentality, presupposing that nothing at all can occur without our perception or permission. For the vast majority of people who believe this folly, there is a simple way of regaining basic sanity, and that is through HONESTLY answering the following question. Many will probably find they lack the personal power to do so, and yet it MUST be done… The question is this; "How did the universe function before there were ever human beings around to have opinions about it?"
Using modern thinking, if a tree needs a humans‘ perception to make a sound when it falls, then surely there were no sounds at all prior to the time when Homo Sapiens walked the Earth. Similarly, there must surely have been no light either, because if there was no one around to see the sun shine, did it still make a light? Of course it did. Furthermore, plants and animals grew, river sediments accumulated, cells divided, rocks were ground to sand on beaches, birds flew, storms dumped snow on mountain peaks and plains alike and water still flowed downhill. In other words all the natural laws which ran the universe did so regardless of being observed, and irrespective of being the subject of human opinion. The very concept of a, "NATURAL LAW" implies a force or forces which operate at all places and times, without concern for anyone’s approval. If you want to understand TRUTH and natural law, just contemplate the fact of life and evolution on this world, prior to human perception. Species of plants and animals have come and gone for millions of years prior to humanity. Obviously, reality does not need our observation or permission to run rather effectively. Then there are those who seek to escape their responsibility for truth, by quoting such sayings as, "the three blind men and the elephant". The story begins by claiming that truth is relative to perception, as “demonstrated“ by the three holding on to different parts of the same animal. The one touching a tusk says, “elephants are smooth, strong, hard and sometimes brittle“. The second holding a leg replies, “you‘re right about the elephant being strong, but it is not brittle, smooth or hard“. The third fool holding the tail gets irate, saying, "You are both idiots, an elephant is obviously a tall but spindly creature, not brittle but always twisting and agile". People quote this saying as "evidence" that there either is no such thing as truth, or that the truth is subject to perception. Yet the example is so completely flawed, so utterly irrational, as to be ludicrous. First of all, the analogy only works if you assume that all people are not only blind, but also incredibly stupid. . Even a blind person should be able to tell that there is more to an elephant than trunk, leg or tail, just by using their ears. Furthermore, we DO have eyes that see, ESPECIALLY when they're open. Secondly, the analogy assumes that the elephant is somehow changed just because it was misperceived in three separate ways. But the fact remains that the elephant, in its’ entirety and sophistication, remained the same creature regardless of human views about it. The most logical conclusion here is NOT that each blind man, "had his own truth" or that truth is somehow, "subject to perception", but that the truth was and is unchanged, regardless of what anyone likes to imagine. It is not that each blind man was, "right in his own way", but that ALL THREE WERE WRONG. You can no sooner do justice to the reality of an elephant by calling it, "trunk, tusk or leg", than you can an ocean by calling it a, "drop, wave or wet". Some will perhaps read this and say, that the three blind men are likened to what we still don’t know about the universe, and that our sciences are still in their infancy. Yes, of course our sciences are. But given this they will further seek to evade responsibility for the truth by concluding that, "truth is still evolving as our understanding of it evolves", or that, "we will never fully understand truth, therefore we don’t need to take reality seriously, since that concept will change radically with each passing decade". Truth does not evolve as our understanding of it improves. The truth remains the same regardless of our understanding. Secondly, just because we don’t yet know EVERYTHING about reality, does not mean that we KNOW NOTHING. It is for those known basics THAT WE DO KNOW, for which humanity MUST hold itself accountable. We ALL know certain facts about the truth, such as people need to breathe and sleep, that love is more healthful for the body than fear, we know that the heart beats and the lungs take in oxygen, that apples are better to eat than driveway gravel or arsenic, and that gradations of feeling and intelligence exist. These basics and countless others, are part and parcel of our daily existence. We know that water runs downhill, that the natural laws of resonance, vibration, spectrum, harmonics, dissonance, gravity/attraction, the proofs of geometry, polarity, the principles of circuit and energy flow, and a huge host of other basics, form the basis of repeated experiment and consistent technology. We know that pollution is damaging to life, that the Earth is not flat and that we orbit a stellar body known as a SUN. We ARE accountable for these and many other obvious facts, which compose reality. There are none so blind as those who will not see this. We see such thinking as the three blind men analogy, applied in every single aspect of the modern world. In international relations, what is assumed to count most is not the truth, (facts) but who can put the most convincing "spin" or "interpretation" on any given incident. In everyday conversation we find that it is not facts that are most often quoted in honest debate, nor logic given to support conclusion made, but rather, who can tell the most convincing lies and project their self image most forcefully. On the religious scene we see that every faith says, "our God is the only God", and/or that, "our scriptures are the highest among all" while at the same time taking great pains to avoid factual discussion, or logical analysis of their own beliefs. It is not that every nation, person and religion has, "their own truth" (as if all these different and often contradictory "truths" could possibly exist simultaneously). What little truth there is contained in the modern world is only had in small part by each person, nation and belief, and it is this, "thread of truth" as it is called, which forms the only REAL common ground between all beliefs, nations and persons. It is not that each largely erroneous belief system is in turn, "right in it’s own way" but like the three blind men, they are ALL in the vast majority, mostly WRONG. If the human race is to survive all the largely false and arbitrary notions of the modern world, then it MUST begin using truth as the foundation for all debate and wise action. The same may be said of every individual, so that they might actually mature into wise, intelligent and progressive beings. The truth is the very essence of further human evolution, and spiritual progress of all kinds. Without it we can only flounder in wishful thinking or sheer delusion. With truth as our foremost guide in life however, we then can address reality on its’ own terms. In truth we can create relationships and a society where enlightenment is the rule, rather than the exception.
Truth Alone is the Only Worthy Guide
The entire materialistic society to which we belong, is subconsciously suicidal. It does not represent Truth and is therefore not worthy of our lifelong devotion. Suicide in one form or another is the modern trend, and this is also true of almost all of the individuals who compose it. If you are ever in doubt about this, just consider the hopelessness and self-defeatism that is rampant in the public today. The reason for our self destruction is clear. Society is simply dead wrong in its goals and values. The feelings of "wrongness" which we experience at every stage of life in the modern world, are not a measure of our "unworthiness" or lack of intelligence. They are a measure of the wrongness and lackingness of society itself. Social norms have failed to elevate the human condition, and are at this moment in fact, the primary obstacle to further human evolution. It is common knowledge that humanity long ago, began making wrong and artificial decisions, with regard to the purpose of life. The true purpose of life is spiritual progress, not material acquisition without limits. We all know this at the cellular or "gut" level. The truth of social unnaturalness is felt at the level of the body, in every strained social interaction, and in our very souls. We simply do not have the time left as a species on this living planet, to continue on in a mode of denial, about the destructiveness of our way of living. Lifestyle is the only REAL indication of spiritual practice, as words are indeed cheap. The most impressive sounding speeches or eloquent poems will not save us from our own self-destruction. We are committing suicide because of the pain of wrong living. Our wrong living stems from a basic misconception about what life is really about. It is not about unlimited or random self indulgence at the cost of all else. Life, and the evolutionary processes upon which it is based has its own governing rules, and these are known as "natural laws". If we will not follow natural laws then we will all die, to put it bluntly. All the "love and light" slogans in the world will not change this outcome, if we do not change our values and the lifestyle which reflects them. What is most called for today among all other spiritual qualities, is honesty. Our culture is immersed in a state of media-induced mass denial which borders on hysteria. Many of those involved in spiritual discussions are similarly denying our daily reality. In other words we are collectively denying the insanity of our participation, in a spirit-less materialistic lifestyle. Let’s examine some of the beliefs of this "consumerism" we are immersed in: 1) The true purpose of "education" is not personal empowerment. The true purpose of education for our children, is very simply to program them for efficient workplace functioning. It also exists as a form of social indoctrination, one that directs itself to defeat all rebellion and unprofitable individualism. This programming starts at a very early age, when the 3-5 year old is subjected to "pre-school", so as to "get ahead". By "getting ahead" we mean of course that we are training our progeny to be ruthless competitors, in a money-grabbing world. We are in essence programming our own children to be the "gladiators of materialism" ... to fight for their social notoriety in the corporate arena, while a hysterical public cheers on. Education therefore exists for the primary purpose of making more money, not individual enlightenment. It exists to suppress creativity, and to enhance the blind following of senseless rules and regulations without question. Public school curriculums work to undermine the natural freedom and intelligence of the human body-mind, so that the hours shown on the face of a clock become more important than the urges of life itself. In such a place joy is stamped out, and play is replaced by painful, meaningless, artificial disciplines. The school system itself also exists for the purpose of babysitting today's youth, which then enables the adult wage slave system to continue without distraction. 2) We are impressed by the belief that God will somehow, someday, take care of our problems as encapsulated by the phrase, "let go, let God". This belief is taken to an extreme, and used as an excuse to not exercise personal responsibility. The mind is not developed, and is viewed instead as merely a passive vessel, into which "Divine influence" is poured, as defined by mainstream religious doctrines, (which includes New Age beliefs as well). "We must be sheep" we are told, rather than intelligent, autonomous beings. In this line of thinking, it is popular to assume that no matter what happens to ourselves or our world society, "It is all part of the Divine Plan". For this reason we are excused from any personal responsibility for personal or world events, since God is assumed to be pulling all the strings of life, and we are merely "His" mindless puppets. The primary error in this belief is that autonomous human intelligence is exactly what is central to this "Divine Plan". It is our natural function to exercise the wisdom and intelligence of right decision-making, in order to learn the needed lessons of existence as souls in bodies. Thus, whether we live or die is a matter of our own self-imposed fitness for survival as a species, and not because of Divine proclamation. 3) That government is now privately owned, and serves special, (money) interests only. If you want to understand the essence behind ANY modern political event, all you need to remember is one single word ... MONEY. For this reason government has become wholly corrupt. Democrasy is no longer practiced, which implies that there is no such thing as the honestly expressed will of the people. In fact, there is no such thing as the will of the people at all for the most part, in the modern age. The public will is determined by media influence, and this is made possible by the years of childhood conditioning in the so-called "educational" system. Propaganda has replaced reality as the measure of "common sense". This is why public opinion is no longer a trustworthy measure of reality, and neither is the media that controls it. 4) It is evident that Orthodox religion has lost its fundamental, spiritual meaning. It has instead become a socio-political vehicle for fear, suppression and mass mind control. Essential spiritual lessons have been dogmatically replaced by a concern for empty ritual, (such as the various Christmas and Easter traditions, whose origins are not even of Christian root). Truth has been lost by an insistence on the blind adherence to formality, social expectation and obligation, as well as hollow speech-making. Modern political and religious speeches bear an uncanny and increasing resemblance to one another. 5) That 99% of all social motivations in this culture are based upon money. All the good things in life are assumed to be found on supermarket shelves, and nowhere else. The dollar is God, and God is to be worshiped day and night for the rest of our lives, as the basis for every consideration. Our self worth is defined in the eyes of society in terms of job titles, resumes and income brackets. There is nothing that most people today will not do for money. Any heinous act is committed against nature, the body, the mind, the family and truth, all for the sake of a paycheck. Profit is considered the ideal excuse to commit any atrocity against humanity, including the exploitation of world resources, environmental health, the enslavement of the poor, mass imprisonment of domestic and foreign populations, the destruction of foreign governments and the starvation and induced, mass infection of various populations world-wide. Profits are considered more important than health, happiness, peace, justice, cooperation, wisdom, love, family, truth, clarity, spirit, nature and God. 6) That all self-worth and image is based on outward validity. Our training in materialism includes the belief that we should always put up a grand show for onlookers, even when we are alone, because we carry around the thought of "what others might think" at all times. This belief implies that if we are not approved of by others, than that automatically means we must be wrong, regardless of facts to the contrary. One such belief is that we should “believe in our country” for instance, regardless of what that country does or really stands for. We are taught that we are always accountable for our actions to "the system", but that the system is never truly accountable to us for our blind, unquestioning support. We are raised to believe that the most important thing in life, (past making money) is the acceptance of ourselves by "the crowd", (society). It does not matter in the slightest (in this hysterical belief system) what that crowd stands for…this consideration is viewed as irrelevant. What matters in today’s world is not sanity but acceptance…not truth but the outward appearance of sincerity. This belief has progressed to such a point, that many people are no longer capable of discernment between what is true and what is false, because their entire lives have been lived to arbitrarily placate the status quo. They have been raised not only to tell lies for the sake of social acceptance, but to tell the very same lies that everyone else considers fashionable. To be "politically correct" is considered the act of the sane, well adjusted person, regardless of what that political scene may be supporting, including the bombing, poisoning or economic strangulation of other countries, for the sake of personal comfort. To fundamentally question society’s basic beliefs however, is considered insane or "ill-adjusted" regardless of the logic, facts or alternatives used. Any life focus which is not about making money or cut-throat competitiveness/selfishness is considered either naïve, crazy, irresponsible or simply outright prosecutable. 7) The view that social opinion is something we should sacrifice our own views for, regardless of what we have known or experienced. The reality is that the demonstrated precepts of society have nothing in common with so-called "family" values or spirituality of any kind, but only with material greed and egotistical, social approval. This fact is demonstrated by our grotesque degree of consumption at the cost of world resources, the degradation of foreign economies and people, and the poisoning of the environment itself. It is also manifest in the largest expenditure of money in the history of mankind, to support a so-called “defense” military budget, (in the United States). In reality this would be better referred to as an "offense budget". This world offensive involves the aggressive political destabilization of all other countries and corporations in the world, and the creation of puppet governments/dictators who will do our regional bidding. This offense budget also exists as a form of threatening intimidation, so as to coerce the peoples of the world to bow to U.S. corporate whims. Such coercion also extends itself to a hugely bloated "law enforcement" and "legal" system, which jails far more of its own citizens than any other country in the world. We now live in a police-state, whose real purpose is to protect the personal interests of the wealthy, and to intimidate, or beat down by force of arms if necessary, any organized resistance or free will, that is contrary to the established aims of the corporate world. 8) That image is far more important than reality. We spend more time and money on cosmetic chemicals, make-up and surgery than we do on health foods. We spend far more effort cultivating a "public personality" than an inner reality and genuineness. It is also common practice to value the packaging of a product more than its real effectiveness or content. Facial expression is more important to us than honesty. Propaganda is more common than actuality. Taste is considered more important than ingredients, (even if these are deadly). 9) All things natural, including one’s own body, are something to do battle with rather than understand. The natural is something to be controlled with an iron fist without end or mercy. Thus we spray pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other poisons on our food, and everything in nature. The natural is something to be surgically altered, implanted with electronics, irradiated, sterilized, paved over, genetically engineered, cut down and used up, as a "resource" for human whims of any kind and purpose. 10) That symptoms are a more important consideration than cause. The addressing of causes and therefore cures, are deemed "unprofitable". This is why cancer, AIDS, and a host of other diseases will never be cured, so long as materialistic values are in place. The result of medical “remedies” will remain far more horrible than what they are supposedly aiming to alleviate. This is also why our food, water and air will continue to be both inadvertently and intentionally poisoned, so that the public will remain in a perpetual state of disease, discomfort and delusion. Today’s "health care" industry views disease as a given, "normal" standard, and health as an exception or unknown. Mental health has more to do with popping another Prozac, Valium, Riddelin or other mood altering drug, than with self knowledge and meditation. Physical health means obediently groveling before a doctor who knows less practical information about health, than any forest-dwelling, tribal shaman. Without honesty, (the acceptance of truth) the following inevitably takes place: 1) government becomes organized crime 2) spirituality/religion becomes hypocritical shallowness 3) social relations become insincere play-acting 4) charity and social institutions become exploitation 5) politics become the efficient and convincing telling of lies 6) mass media becomes propaganda 7) international relations become bitter posturing and war 8) traditions become the repetition of empty ritual 9) knowledge becomes a weapon used for the control of others 10) progress is defined as the destruction of nature and man alike 11) sincerity is seen as weakness 12) goodness is seen as naivete 13) democracy becomes an excuse for going to war 14) industry becomes a nature destroying profit-margin 15) sex becomes the perversion of life energy 16) higher education becomes a means for making more money, not gaining more wisdom 17) medicine becomes a business that preys upon death and sickness 18) science becomes a grant-money machine, not the quest for truth 19) material objects lose their utility and become a reflection of egotism 20) the mind engages in trivial pursuit and madness, rather than exercising genius 21) nature becomes a stockpile of "natural resources" 22) communication becomes mindless babbling and posturing 23) love is fashioned into ownership, (pets are "things", marriage is a contract of possession, children are extensions of ones' ego) 24) education becomes conditioning for the workplace 25) work is made into meaningless, competitive drudgery, (far beyond practical need) 25) all things become a money-making enterprise In essence, without truth as our guiding principle, life becomes so miserable that most activities become an escape. Sound familiar? Mass denial and mass insanity go hand in hand. The more insane the world gets, the more denial we will see everywhere, from back alleys and corporate board rooms, to the highest of government offices. There will be no reprieve from the ills of our world, until truth becomes the standard for human thought and action. Until then, ALL OTHER FORMS OF SOCIAL REFORM ARE DOOMED TO FAIL. Like it or not, human beings are going to have to make a habit of telling, thinking and living the truth, or die en masse and in untold misery. That's just the way it is, so deal with it or suffer endlessly! The best way to correct this current crisis of mass insanity, which is unparalleled in any time throughout history, is to THOROUGHLY AND COMPLETELY QUESTION EVERYTHING SOCIETY TAKES FOR GRANTED. It's too bad that this will make you "unpopular"…what is worse, belonging to the crowd who is completely insane and suicidal, or being alone/with a few who are intelligent and wisely dedicated? I leave that decision to you, and to all of humanity. Make it soon, or suffer the consequences seen everywhere on this world. Anyone who tells you that they are spiritual or wise, and at the same time implies that honesty is not ESSENTIAL to spiritual practice, (such as in the telling of pretty fabrications to keep people "happy") is a hypocritical liar. CONCLUSION There is nothing in society worth defending, maintaining or supporting. All areas of social thinking have become deluded, and are a reflection of both mass denial and mass insanity, in the most literal and wide-spread sense of those terms. Given this fact, the only sane course of action remaining is to remove oneself ideologically and socially from the status quo. Self sufficiency in all areas of life must become our real "standard of living". It is unwise to believe anything you’ve been told about reality from the education, media, government, advertising or orthodox religious networks, as these teachings are either naïve, delusional or intentionally dis-empowering. Our society is composed of lies based upon lies, whose basic, fundamental intention originates from a desire for greedy social power, money, artificiality, egotism, control and mass suppression. Those who continue to believe in the suppositions of society, will forever suffer, while bringing ultimate destruction upon themselves and their children. True spiritual practice is not possible while simultaneously believing in, and living out, the lies of the modern age. To survive materialism with both health and sanity, it is necessary to rise above the common falsehoods and corruption which permeate every facet of modern living. For these reasons, we need far more than just love or nice words to lead intelligent, spiritual lives. We need also to exercise uncompromising clarity about how we are living our lives, and what kind of society we are supporting with our every daily decision. Matthew Webb
