After recording the code structures in Hebrew and I-Ching Binary notation, I filled four glasses arranged in a yang-yin-yin-yang square (one short, one tall, one tall, one short) with water from the hot water jar in my room. An elderly woman appearing like Hawayo Takata was amidst the crowd, grinning at me as I cheerfully delighted in the meaning of the ceremony despite the pain of my scalding burns, a coronary initiation in the water and fire of the Holy Spirit Shekinah, Reiki, Lingqi, Dao.
